united methodist financial credit union

While credit unions are dedicated to providing financial solutions to individuals, many of these nonprofits also provide savings options to organizations, too. The United Methodist Financial Credit Union does just that — offering a way for churches and ministries to raise funding for their outreach efforts.

The credit union’s Church/Organization Variable Share Account, rated at 0.91% APY, is one such service. Combining the high-yield savings and deposit ranges of a CD with the flexibility of a savings account, local religious organizations have a way to save and enjoy the service they expect from a member-focused credit union.

Savings Account Interest Rates: Terms and Conditions

The Variable Share Account has a minimum balance requirement of $10,000, and waives its $5 monthly service fee and $3 transaction fee with two or fewer withdrawals a month. With a high interest rate, it allows churches and places of worship to raise money.

If the account is closed within the first year of opening, a $10 closing fee will be imposed.
